Arthur Loyd, Esq.
Mr. Loyd focuses his practice on legal and financial due diligence of public and private offerings.
Most recently, Mr. Loyd served as general counsel and vice president of due diligence at an independent third-party due diligence company for 5 years. He previously worked in private practice defending professionals and businesses in state and federal court. Mr. Loyd began his legal career as part of a task force with the U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuting a $10 billion mortgage-backed securities fraud.
Mr. Loyd completed a dual Juris Doctorate and Master of Science in Finance program at the University of Tulsa. He served as an editor on the Energy Law Journal, an oil and gas focused law review, and as the Macroeconomic Chair of the Student Investment Fund at the business school.
Prior to graduate school, Mr. Loyd worked as an internal auditor at a Fortune 200 natural gas distributor in Oklahoma, where he performed operational audits ranging from IT and accounting infrastructure to gas processing regulatory compliance at the state and federal level.
Mr. Loyd is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and volunteers time advising entrepreneurs through the Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute.
