Prior to joining the Bowman Law Firm, Mr. Valletta practiced in the areas of business and corporate transactional work, real estate and advanced estate planning at a boutique Chicago law firm. Mr. Valletta completed his J.D. and Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida – Levin College of Law. Mr. Valletta graduated cum laude from the J.D. program and magna cum laude from the LL.M. program, where he received the book award in Taxation of Gratuitous Transfers for achieving the highest grade in the course. While in the LL.M. program, he focused on federal corporate and partnership taxation, international taxation, qualified retirement plans, as well as the estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxes.
Currently, Mr. Valletta is preparing to sit for the CPA examination. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Florida Bar Association. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
